When you come to the part in the pattern when it tells you to sew in the pockets, sew in your Velcro strips. I cut my Velcro strips to be 15 inches long. I pretty much just eyeballed the placement of the strips and once I got them where I wanted, I pinned and sewed them down. Hope that helps.
